great review of the documentary “We Live in Public” which I saw last night at the Museum of Modern Art. I had no idea going in but this was the first screening in NYC (where the entire story took place) and the director and protagonist of the film were on hand for a Q&A following the film. The film won the grand jury prize at Sundance this past January…but this screening in NYC was actually the first time the protagonist had ever seen it…felt so weird to have such an intimate (and sometimes disasterous) look into one person’s life and to have him watch it at the same time. It was 10 years in the making, unbelievable. Very happy I was able to witness this…also got a glimse into the early web days of NYC which I knew nothing about before.
